Spaceplane autopilot suggestions:

I'd like to see independent winged "hold heading" and "hold altitude" buttons for MechJeb. Also, it'd be nice to have a "hover hold" autopilot that's a single-button rather than the multiple-function ordeal it is now.

The "hold heading" and "hold altitude" APs should just use the current routines that are in Mechjeb right now. The "hover hold" can be done by holding pitch at 90 degrees and eliminating vertical speed using th APs, but it'd be nice to have a single panel that was specifically -for- maneuvering a hovering vessel.
