Incorporate the orbital planned maneuvers. Orbital ops should use them to do transfers so you can see what the plan is, and the auto-pilot should simply follow the ones that were manually or automatically set up.

This would be nice to have it throw down the path for me to see, perhaps make some custom tweaks to it, and have it follow that burn. Or if I set up something myself and just have it auto-burn it for me. Using the in-game mechanics as much as possible.
