The MechJeb Module is not appearing in KSP

I copied the parts and started KSP (18.2) but only the standard cockpits/modules are there and so I can't use Mechjeb.
Trying to change the standard modules to MechJeb with the Robs Warehouse mod did not work either, then KSP hangs on loading the modules.
