No user interface for Mechjeb!!

I have no user interface for Mechjeb, I've tried every combination of reinstalling the mod and resetting game files, I've installed the mod according to your instructions and the instructions of people I know. I get a tab which says "Mechjeb" that opens up with no windows or user interface whatsoever. I really want to use mechjeb, its a wonderful mod, please figure this problem out.
